Some times power service Bi refresh the data outside the defined windows this can be considered as partition corruption.

The first thing i will do

Check whether the missing rows are outside the refresh window

This is the first thing I would test.

    Run:

    SELECT

        CAST(UPDATE_DATETIME AS DATE) AS UpdateDate,

        SUM(TOTAL_CALLS) AS Calls

FROM dbo.YourView "add your view name"

    GROUP BY CAST(UPDATE_DATETIME AS DATE)

    ORDER BY UpdateDate

Then compare this with your Power BI service data, if discrepancy comes outside 04 days, then issue is certainly stale history partition.

Second option most of the developers do they dlete the dataset and republish the model again.
This option looks awakward but most of the times it is very effective.

The common causes of this problem

    • Stale historical partitions that are no longer being refreshed.
    • UPDATE_DATETIME not changing when source records are modified.
    • A partition that contains duplicated rows due to historical refresh behavior.
