Incremental Refresh: Backfill?

So I am looking into implementing incremental refresh for our data models. Our models are usually linear except when we add a new client, because we backfill their Sales data for the last couple year...

    Tagoad I have a similar situation for one of my clients where they backfill the data when they do so, they do the full refresh, they are using Power BI premium and can use XMLA to force the full refresh. If you are not using Power BI premium, you have to manually force the full refresh by republishing your pbix file, no need to change anything, just publish the pbix file and then do the refresh in Power BI service and it will force the full refresh.

     

    If you have Premium then you can do a full refresh using XMLA.
