Incorrect location on map

Hi

 

I have some rows in data for New Jersey, USA but it is showing on a map at Jersey, UK.

 

Eaxt text in data is "New Jersey (NJ), USA" and column category is set as Place

 

Any ideas?

    Hi Anonymous

     

    I had the same kind of problem with french department, to solve my problem I put them like that : 

     

    "FR, " & DeptCode 

     

    If you try it on the other way will it work ?

      Thanks, that seemed to work for the New Jersey issue but has now caused two other incorrect locations

       

      USA, Wayland, MA is showing in Morocco 

      USA, Amelia Island, FL is showing in Iceland

    Also, try to change your type of column, maybe City will work

    Hi kporteous ,

     

    For troubleshooting, try bing map using IE browser and check if the issue still occurs. In addtion, please update your power bi desktop to the lastest version.

      Seems to work correctly on bing maps and deskopt is latest version, was updated yesterday
