Including a specific Date in a Line Chart

I'm a relatively new Power BI user and am looking to make a line chart that denotes a specific date in the data. Ideally, I am looking to create a measure that will show a specific date as a mark on each of multiple lines. If that isn't possible, I would like to create a measure that will show up as a vertical line where the specified date falls on the x-axis.

 

My data is set up such that each line is part of a different table. Each table is linked through a reference table that includes a month and year value.

      After reading the article you provided I'm not sure what more information I should provide, but I will give it my best shot.

      My data is incremental, with one data point recorded each month on the first day of the month. I have a line chart that shows spending data across one fiscal year. The data is drawn from three different tables. Each table contains a column denoting the date and are linked in my schema with a reference table that contains a single column that has unique date values for each of the dates contained in the other tables. I am attempting to mark on each line a single date (e.g. April 1st).

       

      Does that include enough information to help clarify the problem?

        By additional information I need some screenshot around

        1. what data you have (may be some sample data)
        2. what data model you have got
        3. what kind of visuals you have in your report
        4. A sample visual that you want to achieve.

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    According to my understanding, you want to add a vertical line to a chart,right?

     

    To my knowledge, it's not availavle currently in Power BI, but you could take a look at this workround:
