Inappropriately merged ideas re: duplicating measures

I looked for an idea to upvote regarding the ability to duplicate measures and was surprised to see that the highest vote total among them was only 159. When I dug into it, though, I found that another earlier idea with over 1,100 votes expressing the same request was merged into the later one with fewer votes. Not saying it was done maliciously, but this has the effect of burying those 1,100+ votes. This should be reversed.

Also, it would be really useful if search results could be sorted by vote count.

@volfied Yeah, the Ideas site is a train wreck. It used to show correct totals for Idea votes but they broke it like over a year ago. So, the ideas are ranked by their actual total votes but the totals that are displayed aren't the actual totals. It's dumb but that's how it is.
