Inactive relationship - How to make it active

Hi all,

I have a separate Country table in Power BI which link to 2 other tables (Table 1 and Table 2) which have a country field. I am trying to create a relationship between:

1. Country table and Table 1 - This relationship is successfully created with active relationship

2. Country table and Table 2 - I am not able to make this realtionship active. See the error message below. How can I resolve this relationship so the Country table works actively with both Table 1 and Table 2

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Thanks

  • Hi,

Set the cross filter direction to Single (instead of Both) for all relationships.

  • Anonymous , I doubt there is a relation between Table 1 and Table2. That is creating a loop or two path .

You can only join Country with both, if they are not joined

      Hi amitchandak

Thank you for your feedback. This is what I have in my relationship. Table 1 and Table 2 are linked via Calendar table at the moment and I am trying to connect them via Country table now. My relationship as below highlighted 3 tables. Thanks
