    Thankyou for this. If I was to include a date table in the same way the country table operates, would this slot in exactly the same?

      Yes, the date table is a dimension that controls both fact tables.

        It doesn't seem to like it as I have to link via bridge table. Its creating many to many as date dimension has multiple entries for a period.
