In Matrix visualization is there a way to have a column turn into a URL or link?

I have text column that I would like to turn into a URL inside the Matrix visualization.  Is there a way to accomplish that?

Thanks in advance, Scott

Hi @wskallmeyer

On the Modeling tab, try setting the categorization of your field to Web URL

Where would I append the URL information?  I know in SSRS I can store that separately.  In Power BI does it need to be in the data as part of the column?

Nothing changed when I updated the Data Categorization.

Thanks, Scott

Hi @wskallmeyer

I assumed you had a single column that included just the URL information.  Once you categorise this column as per above, when you drag the column to a matrix you will see it be underlined and you can click it to open the site in a new window.

I added the http information to the column text and re-added it to the Matrix.  Url shows up!  Is there a way to show it as a link without the gory detail of the entire URL, like name in HTML/HREF?

Thanks!
