Importing web data into PowerBi

Hi,

I am trying to retrive all the tabled data in the following website but I when I use the web connector it does not find the data. 

https://fantasyfootball.telegraph.co.uk/champions-league/statscentre/

I can copy and paste all the data manually and put it into an excel sheet however ideally id like to learn if there is a way around linking it directly.

 

Any help would be great

    Hi nigelreilly,

     

    Based on my test, we are not able to use the website URL to get that table data. You need to research for the site, if it exposes the API for table data then you can use the Web data source in Power BI desktop to call this API to get data.
