Importing and SQL query with DECLARE statements

Question

Just FYI I'm new to PowerBI although SQL is my Thang 🙂 I connect to our SQL Server using poerBI along with an SQL Query that uses DECLARE Statements. I can't figure out how to create Parameters using a query. Whenever I try to create a parameter it only give me numeric options. Where am I going wrong?

Anonymous&nbsp; do you mean Power Query Parameters? What you are referring here? Can you share the screenshot?
