Imported xlsx file from sharepoint to one of the workspace directly

Hello,

I have a problem with viewing a data from imported xlsx file from sharepoint. It worked well till this weekend. It looks like some bug on MS side, but I want to be sure, if you have the same issue?

1. Remove the ?web=1 Parameter:

• Check the connection string or the file path URL in your dataset settings.

• If the URL ends with ?web=1 (which forces the web view), remove it. Power BI sometimes struggles to parse the file structure when this parameter is present in the import path.

2. Re-authenticate Data Source Credentials:

• Go to the Dataset Settings in the Fabric/Power BI workspace.

• Under Data source credentials, specifically for the SharePoint source, click "Edit credentials."

• Re-login using OAuth2 and ensure the privacy level is set correctly (usually "Organizational"). Sometimes token expiration causes the renderer to fail silently (showing a blank screen instead of an error).

3. Clear Browser/Desktop Cache:

• If this is happening in the browser, try opening the workspace in an Incognito/Private window.

• If you are using Power BI Desktop, go to File > Options and settings > Options > Data Load and clicking "Clear Cache".

4. Alternative Connection Method (Binary):

• Instead of importing the file object, try connecting via the SharePoint Folder connector in Power Query.

• Filter to the specific file and click the Binary content. This bypasses the Excel Online viewer and pulls the raw data directly.
