Import data dictionary information into the Power BI properties?

When you click the left hand model icon, it displays a Properties panel

Here you can define the name, synonyms, description, display folder, etc for the tables, columns and dax measures.

The description name then pop-ups when you hover over the item in the Fields panel.

I have a existing datamodel with 100s of columns including

         DimProducts

                Product Name

                Unit Price

I also have a data dictionary on SQl or EXCEL

            Tablename.columnnam

            Description

For example

DimProducts.Name  = The product name (as it appears on the company website)

DimProducts.Unit Price = The price per item before qty and customer discounts

I don’t want to have to manually type all the data dictionary into the Power BI properties.

Is there a way I can import the data dictionary infomation into the Power BI properties?

Thank you.

You have to manually type all the data dictionary into the Power BI properties.
