Import Excel Workbook Content fails
I've created a pivot table in Excel using the data in a worksheet, and selecting Add to Data Model when I create the pivot table. I then go into Power BI and select FIle -> Import -> Excel Workbook Content. However, when I then try to import the PowerPivot table into the Power BI Desktop file, I get the following error message:
The error message is the same for both tables that failed to Import. But I'm unable to fnd what the size limits for importing tables are. The file itself is 2.8MB, and the data model portion is 1.8MB (and, yes, that's MB - this is a very, very small file).
The tables themselves are:
CurrentHC - 30 columns X 2705 rows
CurrentJob - 9 columns X 20664 rows
Can anyone tell me if these numbers indicate the reason the tables can't be imported from PowerPivot/the data model into PowerBI? If not, does anyone have any advice for me to try and figure out why these tables won't import?

Can you determine whether these tables contain specific characters or links to other data sources?
I have not encountered any other similar issues and not found any documents mentioned the paste limitation.Regards,

I think your should cut down other contents to import these table model, it seems like other contents which stored in excel workbook has exceeded the size limit.

Xiaoxin, thanks. But I'm not clear on why you're recommending this.
The tables you've identified as content I should remove import successfully, and are extremely small. StaffingHistory has 8 columns and 2,000 rows, Wave has 2 columns and 5 rows, CommStat has 4 columns and 60 rows, and Comm has 4 columns and 20 rows.
None of the tables, both the ones that import successfully and the ones that don't, contain any large fields/columns, so it's not the actual data itself that is "taking up space."
Could it be anything to do with the fact that it's a pasted table (and I'm not sure why it's identified as such - I didn't paste the Excel tables into PowerPivot, I used the tables as the data sources for pivot tables, and then checked the "Add this to the Data Model" checkbox.
