Checking to see if anyone has had this problem and found a fix for it. I have created a dashboard for work and use some images in it that I store on a teamshare. I point to that share for the images when I loaded them into the dash. The issue i'm having is that they keep disappearing on me. I will work on it, save it, everything is fine, then pull it up the next day only to see that the image shows blank. If I hover over it the outline of the image is there but nothing is showing. I end up having to physically remove it and re-load the image into the dashboard. Before anyone asks - yes I verified the image is still on the share, nobody has touched it, etc.
Any thoughts?
Hi @jondeck24,
Based on my test in Power BI Desktop version 2.40.4554.463, I'm not able to reproduce the issue. The selected image in Chiclet Slicer will not change after reopen the report. Also the image in the Chiclet Slicer displays after publish to Power BI Service.
In your scenario, please download the chicklet slicer sample .PBIX file and open it in the latest desktop version. After publish it to Power BI Service, please try to use different browsers to see if issue related to browsers.
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
Hi @jondeck24
Is it for chicklet slicers? or you are just looking for static images in your dashboard.
Its a banner image that I put at the top of my page. I do put a chicklet slicer over it - which i'm having issue with the chicklet slicer too as I select it to the current month, save, and then when I open it up later it defaulted back to the earliest selection.
Storing a image on the local drive and putting in reports would likely to solve your problem.
