I'm adding about a thousand URL's from google maps to my power query so that when our inspectors hover over a point on a map in power bi, they can see the Google maps image of the property in their tooltips. However, I see in Microsoft's "Considerations" here that my links actually need to be in one of these file formats: .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, or .svg. DOesn't that defeat the purpose of using the URL's? Like if I want them to be able to click around in the neighborhood, that requires a live URL to move the camera around. How can I get around this restriction and just upload live URL links?

Hi, @bonjourposte
Unfortunately, the current restrictions cannot be bypassed at this time. This is by design. Power BI is now unable to achieve what you need. You can submit an idea for it at https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/ and wait for users with the same needs as you to vote for you to help make it happen as soon as possible.
