Hi All,

 

    I am having an issue here and would appreciate your help. I am very new to Power BI. I have had my data unpivoted. Now what i want to do is, If i select a certain coloumn "Request Type" = Proposal and Also select another coloumn "Is Proposal" = Yes, iwant the countDisticnt of project i.e. DISTINCT COUNT( Name). But when i write this it give me the distint count of projects accross all Request Types which is 259 but i want it to be 69.(Verified it on Excel)

 

 

I hope i have explained the question in a rightway!

Hi Abhishek1,

 

Based on your description, you want to distinct count a column grouped by other columns, right?

 

You can use "Group By" in Query Editor, click Transform->Group By, refer to: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-common-query-tasks#group-rows.
