Identifying the latest status

Hi,

This might be a question more appropriate to Power Query but I'll try here first.

I have a table of holiday bookings that I want to present in a calendar visual, however the table has the same booking appearing multiple times with different status values such as Pending; Approved; Cancelled.  However, the table doesn't include a timestamp, only the date of the intended absence.

I want to display the most current status by filtering the table, ranking Approved above Pending and Cancelled above Approved.  How can I do this?
