Ideas for dynamic cards
The red rectangle highlights a stacked bar chart that I've compressed to resemble a card. I added custom labels to represent the data I want to display.
While I could have used standard cards, the challenge is that the cards need to align with the columns in the bar chart above. When slicers are applied, the x-axis of the bar chart may shift, causing the positions of the columns to change, while the cards would remain fixed in place.
To solve this, I used a stacked bar chart and compressed it to look like a card. I ensured that the x-axis of the stacked bar chart matches the x-axis of the bar chart above, so any changes due to slicer filters would apply to both charts, keeping everything aligned.
Although this approach works, it's not a perfect solution. Aligning everything in the first place was already quite challenging. When the x-axis expands, the alignment becomes noticeably off, and itβs difficult to tell which elements are aligned.
Is there a better way of doing this?
Found a solution on the original approach. I just had to enable the X axis labels on the stacked bar chart below and making the font color of the X axis white to make it invisible. Enabling the labels made everything 100% aligned

Recommended Approach: Use Standard Cards Aligned with the Bar Chart.
By using standard cards and aligning them with the bar chart, you can create a visually cohesive and interactive report that meets user expectations effectively. This method simplifies maintenance and improves user experience within your Power BI dashboard.
If this helped, a Kudos π or Solution mark would be great! π

Yes I can just use cards and align them with the bar chart. But what happens if I apply a slicer filter? The x axis of the bar chart would shift but the cards would just stay in place.
