I want to modify the header when adding data

If you change the query like the following capture, you will get an error message. I want to modify the header when adding data, but an error will occur. Please tell me how to resolve.

As a procedure,
① Edit query
② Add query as new query
③ Header in the main table: Specify data in the table to be added to the main table
④ Select all newly created queries and change the data type to text
⑤ Use the first line as the header, and apply it.

    Hi sachiko,

     

    Based on error message, you are try to add additional steps at direct query mode, right?
    If this is a case, current power bi not support these operations in 'direct query' mode.(calculate on row contents, summary/group rows, add new columns...)

     

    For your scenario, I'd like to suggest you to switch to import mode and try again.
