I need the color of the actual data bar in the bar chart to change depending on the deviation from

Hello community! I need the color of the actual data bar in the bar chart to change depending on the deviation from the plan. I have created a small example. There was already a similar request on this forum, from which I realized that it was necessary to create a measure that would return the desired color. I did it. How to apply it now, so that in the choice of the color of the column there is an opportunity to choose fx? Example at the link. I would be grateful if the proposals are described step by step.

My solution will enable you to click that 'fx' to add the conditional formatting which will change the color based on the deviation.

From your original question I thought you had the conditional formatting DAX figured out already, let me know if that's not the case. and @ mention me so I don't lose this thread.

With one thing in Y-axis you have conditional formatting:

With 2 things in 'Y-axis' the conditional formatting disappears:

So that is why I suggested the line and column chart, so you can still have both values, but also the conditional formatting:

Hope that makes more sense??

@Sergii22  The issue you have is that you have two fields in 'values' so there's no option to use fx (conditional formatting) on the colors. If you remove either budget or revenue, you'll see there's an option to apply conditional formatting to the colours. You could try using the combo line and column chart and put budget in the 'line values' and revenue in the column values, and apply conditional formatting to the revenue column colors.

Thanks for the answer!

But I need a solution for a bar chart where the bars change their color depending on the deviation.

On the net I found enough examples with bar charts, but without an explanation of how it was done.
Does the community have suggestions for solving this problem?

Thanks again for your answer! I got your idea the first time). I will change my rendering approach and take your advice. Your answer contains the solution. But I'm still interested in how other experts have managed the color of the bars in the charts by condition.

@Sergii22  If you have any links to the examples you're referring to, we can try to provide more insight as to how it's done, but I'm not aware of any other way to change bar chart colors in the default visual (custom visuals are a different story, but still not likely)

Yes, you are right, more often it is custom visuals. For example, this company:
