I need a formula that calculates the FTE based on different working hours

Hello,

I am new to Power BI and I struggle with one thing:

I have a column with total hours worked by employees and the working hours number for each month. I want to calculate the FTE but to take into consideration the month.

For example: If I select period 202311, I have Working hours 168, if I select period 202310, I have Working hours 176. So the formula should take into consideration period when calculating FTE.

Column Working hours comes from a table, column Total effort and Period are from other table. I have made a relationship between them, common column is Period.

Thank you!

Regards,

Tabita

I found it!:)

FTE = DIVIDE([Total efort], SUM('Working days'[Working hours]))
This way, every time I select a different month, I have the FTe calculated based on working days for that month
