I'm really close, how to 'overlay' plots

Thanks to a kind soul on here, I managed to get my data sorted and transformed to start to analyse it. 

It's interest groups of students, along with certain measures across the years 2019-2023. 

I'd love to show trends in these and compare across different subjects and groups. I've got really close, in that I can chose a year, measure, and students and it will plot a graph for that selection. What I can't do is put another plot on it. It just totals up my selections! Please help!

Yes, that displays everything, but then the slicers will only allow one selection?

First, just as @Greg_Deckler  Said, add Focus Group to the Legend. Then you just need to hold down the "Ctrl" key and select the "Focus Group" you need in the slicer like this:

@jgreen82 I downloaded and looked at your file but I have no clue what you are trying to accomplish, can you elaborate?

Thank you so much for your offer to have a look Greg. I'm trying to make it a bit more interactive than a spreadsheet we are used to! A head of department could select their subject(s) of responsibility and then compare the different student cohorts to see how progress had improved or not.
