Hello,
I want to create interactions between different tables in POWER BI. I`ve selected that 1 slicer shouldn`t have any interaction with any of the other tables on the Power BI first page, where I have different tables showing data.
The problem is, If I want that particular slicer just to interact with 1 table, how do I do that. I went to manage relations and clicked on it multiple times.
Once I told it not to have any interaction with any of the other tables, it didn`t switch back to having interactions with other tables. I need after I told it not to have an interaction, to have an interaction, I need to be able to toggle between not having an interaction to having one?
How do you do that? If i choose filter, the whole data from the table disappears, and I can`t get it back.

@cristio ,
you should be able to do this by "Edit Interactions" feature.
When you have the slicer highlighted you will see a "Format" pane in the top many and the first button on this page is the one you want. One you enabled "Edit Interactions" some extra icons will apear on the other objects and all object is by default set to filter. You can change the object you don't want to be filtered by the slicer to "None".

And in my own experience, I often operate by copying the slicer's table, then creating a relationship between the copied table and only the table I want to filter, leaving no relationship between it and the other tables, and then creating the slicer with the fields in the copied table, so that the slicer only affects the visual effect of the filtered table. However, there are some disadvantages in that the fields in the filter table are used in other visuals and other visuals will be filtered as well.And alternatively you can try creating replica tables after replica tables and all tables, deleting relationships, creating MEASURE using replica slicer tables to filter reports.

Hi,
Not sure what do you mean,
But for creating the Slicer based on the different items from separate tables you could use the Field Parameter in Power BI :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTr1a0yknTo
Hope it will be useful for you
I want to connect 2 tables so that when i click one item in one table, the other table has changed. And I want this option to be available and active and I want this option to be deactivated. I want to toggle between activated and unactivated
