I can't add column to visual in Power BI

Hi,

I can't insert new column to visual because it causes resources exceeded error. So how to resolve the issue?

Hi Analitika,

Assuming you are trying to add new column to either Matrix or Table which is having complex calculations or more number of rows.

If that is the case it may lead to this issue.( atleast which i seen before).

it quite literally means there are not enough resources by the Power BI’s server to display the visual you have selected.

So maybe possible to optimize some measures which are already in table visual?

Here is a measure:

Filtered measure = 
SUMX (
    FILTER (
        VALUES ('N08-Klientai'[N08_PAV] ),
        [20_2_1_DATA PRADELSIMAS] <= 30 && [20_2_1_DATA PRADELSIMAS] >=1
    ),
    CALCULATE ( [18_1_0_BENDRA SKOLA (nuo istorijos pradzios)] )
)

Hi @Analitika ,

The issue occurs when a visual has attempted to query too much data for the server to complete the result with the available resources.

As suggested in the error, you may need to try filtering the visual to reduce the amount of data in the result currently.

20_2_1_DATA PRADELSIMAS is measure and 

18_1_0_BENDRA SKOLA (nuo istorijos pradzios is measure.
