Hyperlink of individual files from a SharePoint folder connection shown in PBI report

Hi,

May I have help on the hyperlink of individual file on a Power BI report? I connected the data through a SharePoint folder. It pulled data from every files in that SharePoint folder, so there could be multiple lines of information on the Power BI report with each file.

I have checked my Power Query before posting this question. It looks like there was only folder path inteads of individual file path.

Thanks,

Glad you got to a solution, in those cases you can also filter the Folder Path column and select only the ones you'd like to keep.

To keep those 2 columns check for the automatic step Removed Other Columns, click on the gear icon and just check them again.

If you are going to use a single file hosted on a Sharepoint, for example an Excel file, use the Web connector instead and the file URL, for example: companyname.sharepoint.com/teams/Documents/filename.xlsx (you can find the URL in File > Options > Info > Copy Path and erase the ?=web1 portion.)

Unfortunately, I have 98 files under that folder. Do you have suggestions for the issue? Thanks,

Do you want to connect and extract all 98 files or just 1 file of those 98?

all of 98 files, please.

Actually, I found a way to have the path of each file now (using customized column with combination of path and name columns). But I don't know how to keep the highlighted two columns after combining the content. Thanks, 2023-08-02_13-15-58.png

Thanks for your prompt response.

I am at the step where I will keep all of them (no need to filter out any for now), however, when I click on the circled content which will pick the table and combine all data, those two columns "Project" and "Custom" will dissappear for the combined data. Can you please help me? You may already told me the answere for this, maybe b/ I am new to this and got lost.  lol 2023-08-02_13-15-58.png
