Hyperlink not working

Hi all,

We have created power bi report by fetching data from dynamics crm sales module by using dataverse connector.Report consists of card visuals and table visual. In table visual, we have used fields from three different entities/tables.and added hyperlink to one field . But for some rows hyperlinks is working, for some rows hyperlinks not working. The reason is, if we all the data filled in a row, then hyperlink working fine. If any is missing in a row, hyperlink is not working. So ,is that the only way to solve the issue is to have all the fields in a row without blanks?

Or any other way is there to enable hyperlinks even any of the data is blank in a row.

Hello @Maha16 ,

This is expected behavior in Power BI. When a hyperlink is constructed using values from multiple fields, any missing (blank) value can result in an incomplete or invalid URL, which prevents it from rendering as a clickable link.

@Deku  is correct  this typically happens due to a malformed URL caused by blanks in key fields. To resolve it, we recommend reviewing how the hyperlink is constructed and ensuring it handles missing values gracefully. Also, confirm that the column is categorized as a Web URL.

Thankyou.

I assume you are calculating the link URL with a measure based on values from the missing row? If so you may be ending up with a malformed URL
