Hyperlink from Power BI report to excelsheet

Hi,

It is possible to add a hyperlink from the Power BI report to an excelsheet. In this case I am going to show Net Sales and Gross Margin in Power BI, but I want a hyperlink to excel where I can show products with negativ GM (more details). Hopefully someone can help me 🙂

Hi @Eped,

Yes, you can do that easily. I would suggest adding a text box as the container of the links. Because you can edit them anytime without making changes to the dataset.

1. Upload the Excel Workbook into Power BI Service.

2. Open the workbook, copy the URL link.

3. Add a Text box, input some words as title. Select the title, add the link.Hyperlink from Power BI report to excelsheet.jpg
