How you keep your development copy ?

Hi All

 Now I try to create a development folder , and using version number to track my development copy . Since I store my Copt at SharePoint , May I know do I still need to using version number ? Does SharePoint allow me to get back the copy I save one week ago ?

    Anonymous , I think you can go back to previous version on sharepoint, I remeber I had used this. You can also check once. There will be an option like version history on the file.
