Dear Folks,
Could you please let me know, is it possible to view a Power BI shared report in a Power BI desktop application?
Thanks & Regards,
AKG
Solved! Go to Solution.
@AKG_BAH , You can share using power bi service or create an app of power bi service and share?
@AKG_BAH , You can download the pbix and use it.
Of you can use dataset of published power bi file using power bi dataset option and build visuals on that
Hi Amit,
Thanks for the reply, however for the dataset I need to recreate the visuals isn't it?. I will explain my scenario here. For a group of people I would like to share a Power BI report that I did by myself. Whenever they receive my email notification, they have to enter their O365 credentials to view it (In the mobile application, it's one time). Therefore, is there anyway that we can bypass the credential entry and view the report directly.
Thanks & Regards.
Dear Amit,
Sorry for the late reply and let me try the way-out you have mentioned.
Thanks & Regards,
AKG
