Helper IIHow to un-remove items from a chart (i.e. Show All)

If an item is deleted directly with remove, you can use Ctrl + Z to restore it

Community Championoh that is very interesting, i didn't realise you meant you literally couldn't add it back in. That seems very odd. You dont sound bitter, its just a case of understanding. User friendly is the name of the game and of course power bi is purposed for that but its definitely a work in progress.
I do not think though that i have had the same experience as you can you literally tell me the steps of what happened so i can understand better.
where did you remove the category from? did you look in the relationship layout view. when you hide a column you can only see it in that view.
Helper IIThanks. I'm not sure how else I can describe it. Other than, I had a bar chart that displayed data from one field. i.e. "Male", "Female", and "Other". I hit "remove" on "Other" (see photo example above), and that category dissapears. "Other" is still in the field itself. There's just no way to add it back into the chart without re-building from scratch. I've even tried removing the fields from the visual and re-adding them : nope, it's gone forever.
You can see that with a more complicated example, not having this ability is extremely problematic. Which is why to me, Power Bi still sucks.
