How to turn column autosizing?

Hello,

 

In the matrix preview visualisation (I have the April 2017 software update) I set Format->Column Headers->Auto-size column width to "Off".

 

But when I drag a new column into the matrix then the columns all resize to match the lengths of the text of the column headers. Have I missed something?

    Hi Anonymous,

    Have you manually adjust the column width in matrix preview visualization after you turn off the Auto-size column width option? Based on my test, if we have Rows, Columns and Values in the matrix preview as shown in the following screenshot, everything works well after manually changing column width.


    However, if the matrix preview only contains Rows and Values, it doesn’t work even we set column width, based on WillT’s reply in this similar thread, this is a known issue and it will be resolved in a future update.
