How to sync folder on OneDrive to SharePoint?
I have created Power BI Report using Local Folder. Now I want to change its source to cloud. That folder is on OneDrive.
But I want to use SharePoint.
I can copy but want to sync so that data will be updated.
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can change the reference from local to the SharePoint path. The trick is getting the "right" path, it's the one in the "more details" menu for the file.
Here's a couple video walkthroughs - one for individual files and one for the folder connector (not sure which you're using):
Change source file path to SharePoint from local: https://youtu.be/2HZ8l23RXnc

OneDrive or a team SharePoint site can both be synced locally, so you could leave the files where they are and change the path, but generally speaking OneDrive isn't the best place to store files because if you leave your org they get deleted. You might move them to a shared site and sync that instead.
