How to stop one of the column from giving you only summed value

I am trying to display two columns of data. However, I could only get one of the columns to be filtered by year. The other column is returns sum of all values. A little help please? 🤝Blank row.png

@fanhui3 the relationship diagram doesn't look correct. First you shouldn''t have cross filter to both, change it to single

2nd, your date table should be on 1 side and other tables on many side whereas in diagram you date table is on many side and other tables on 1 side, it is incorrect.

Hi @fanhui3 ,

According to your snapshot, it seems like relationship mapping does not work with your column and related table categories so that it shows summarize result of whole table records.

What is the Direction of Relationship in Power BI?

Can you please share some detail information to help us clarify your scenario?

Regards,

Xiaoxin Sheng

Hi  @Anonymous and @parry2k,

The informations are all connected through a calendar table. It is done through a many(calendar) to one (others) di-directional relationship.

The capital expense is from the table: KeyRations

The operating Cash flow is from the table: Cash Flow

By the way, i would love to attach the powerBI file here for reference. But i can't find the button to attach files. A little help?

@fanhui3 you need to share how your data model looks like and from which table these values are coming. Seems like a relationship issue.
