Hi, @PeterPaul

According to your sample picture, if you find it’s impossible to drill down the matrix when the ‘Date’[Month] is in the row, you can try to switch the columns and rows of the matrix, place [Assignment] into the “Column” and place ‘Date’[Month] and [Locationname] into the “Row” and check if it can work.

More info about drill mode in a visual in Power BI

Thank you very much!

@PeterPaul

Use a Matrix visual and assign the Assignment  on ROWS section,  Month then Location on COLUMNS, and Values on the VALUES section
