How to sort a dynamic slicer values based on the another column?
HI Experts,
I have a scenario like apply some filters on slicer to sort the values.
Here for example : i am having a slicer with account names which will be increaing when new accounts are added and by default we have a sorting methods like asc & desc in visual itself.
I have a coulmn like account status : OPEN & CLOSED
So based on this account types , the slicer will give the order .
OPEN accounts should come on top & CLOSED accounts are all comes after that .
Below the account names slicer i have , this is in alphabet orders now.
OPEN accounts are comes on top & CLOSED should come after that . this is the scenario.
Please help to sort this asap ?
Thanks
DK
Hi Anonymous
go to power query editor then Sort the Status by Desc then sort the Account by Asc.
then got to add column tab > then index column>
index column is added
save and close power query editor
then select account column > then sort by column option > select index
then take you slicer add account column you will get sorted order data
I hope I answered your question!
Attaching pbix for reference!
