@LotteLaugesen , there is no such option as of now. You can put a transparent(background) rectangle on it from shapes and groups with visuals.

I am afraid that it is not possible in Power BI... I am not sure whether you need a red box for the axis or something else.
Can you be little more clear on what you are expecting?
