Hi @Gordonlilj  I tried the solution in your refered link but didn't work because the value field in the bar visual requires a number field and the accepted answer in that question is a text type measure which is not accepted by the value field in the bar.

If I use it for the tooltip field then the users couldn't see it at first sight, which is not a good solution for me.
