How to show target by month for sales agents in dashboard?

Hi, I have two datasets: one is detail of actual sales with multiple sales agents for multiple periods, the other dataset is target for multiple sales agents breakdown by month. I have linked the relationship for both data for the column agents, but I still unable to call out the target by month for the sales agents in the dashboard. The target shows the whole year one instead of by month, even when I use a slicer. How can I fix this issue? Thanks in advance.

@cathyloo , Create common tables Date(with Month, Qtr, year etc) and Agent Sales and join with both tables and analyze data together
