How to show current year and selected year sales from slicer in a line graph?

Hi,

I'd like to show a line graph that has 2022 sales and previous year sales which can be changed using a slicer. Is this possible?

I have a GL entry table which consists of Posting Date, Amount, Level 1 Group. Level 1 Group has Sales, COGS, Overheads, Other Income so I'd need the SUM of amount by Level 1 Group = Sales

My date table has a relationship to this aswell.

This is what I'd like my end result to look like.

Any help would be appreciated.

@Anonymous , For the display above the slicer need to be on independent table 

//Date1 is independent Date table, Date is joined with Table

Other wise you need use this year vs last year meausre

Year behind Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Year))
Year behind Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR('Date'[Date]))

last year MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH)))
Previous year Month Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),previousmonth(dateadd('Date'[Date],-11,MONTH)))
last year MTD (complete) Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(ENDOFMONTH(dateadd('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH))))
