Is there a way to create a timeline where the marks on the timeline are points not lines or bars? I don't need the chart to extend along the y axis but would prefer the x axis to be smart enough to show "past" and "future" in context. I'd also like to include tooltips if possible.
I imported and tried the TimeBrush slicer viz but I'm looking for something that uses points not lines and shows the x axis like the column chart of the same data
I tried the calendarvisual (calendar heatmap) but it wouldn't display correctly for me, it would summarise the date (earliest, lastest) when I had no summarisation set on the modelling screen
Hi @mobcdi,
According to your description above, I don't think the current built-in/custom visuals in Power BI can achieve your requirements. I would suggest you to submit it on Power BI Ideas and vote it up to improve Power BI.
Regards
