How to show 'New' Slicer visual with multiple sub-categories

I have a page with 2 Slicer visuals which slices a specific column (say 'Name') in table T1 across two categories. Important - Composite Key for T1 is another column ID and Name (the colume to be displayed on visual).

I have created a column 'category' in this table which can have two values - 'Important' and 'Not Important' based on a certain logic. I have created another column 'Color' (based on some logic) which carries values of different colors which should be used to Fill the 'Slicer' Tiles in the visuals. I created two different 'New Slicer' visuals which carries the tiles for Important and 'Not Important' categories respectivaly. I am able to format the Fill values under 'Buttons' in the visual and assign the respective values based on the 'Color' column value.

Now, I have a  2-part query:

1. I have problem with a very specific use case - say, Name is ABC and there are two IDs for it123 & 456. Both are listed under 'Not Important' and both have different 'Color' - Blue and Yellow respectivaly. If they would have been under different categories, the visual would have come fine, but now under the same category in the same 'New Slicer' visual, I want to show them as two different tiles with same name, but different respective colors. Now this is working just well if it would have been different categories & different colors, or different categories & same color, or same category & same color, but it is not working for same category & different color.

Any workaround please!

2. I want a functionality where if someone selects a tile on one of the two slicers on the same page, they should not be able to select any of the tiles on the second slicer. I would prefer disabling select but hiding the visual is also acceptible.

Please share your inputs.

Thanks in Advance!

View -> "Sync Slicers" -> "Advanced Options" -> pick a new group name + attributes. Change each included slicer settings to new group name.

Hi @adi38612

I don't quite understand your requirement, could you please provide some sample data and expected results based on sample data? That would be very helpful. How to provide sample data in the Power BI Forum - Microsoft Fabric Community Or show them as screenshots or pbix. Please remove any sensitive data in advance. If uploading pbix files please do not log into your account.
