How to setup Advance Incremental Refresh
Hi All,
I just want to confirm, to use of advanced incremental refresh in PBI.
1. Do we need to set up incremental refresh first?
2. Can we set up incremental refresh without having any date column in Fact_Table?
thanks in advance

Hi Anonymous ,
About your first question:
Yes, you need to set up incremental refresh first. About how to set up, you can refer to this document:
Configure incremental refresh and real-time data for Power BI semantic models - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
And your second question:
In general, you must have a data column of data type date/time to configure incremental refresh. However, if your tables don't have a column of date/time data type but instead have a date column of integer surrogate keys in the form of yyyymmdd, you can configure it by means of data conversion Incremental Refresh.
