Hi modi123p - you must set this tabular layout manually in matrix visual available at formatting pane > Layout and style presets > Tabular yu can choose layout with tabluar. The "stylePreset" property you tried does not control the layout via theme it is not supported as of now.

Your theme file looks mostly solid, but just a heads-up — the "visualStyles" section might not apply as expected to all visuals unless you're targeting specific visual types. Right now you're using "*" which is fine for general styling, but some visuals (like matrix or table) might override or ignore certain props unless explicitly defined.
Also, in the "pivotTable" section, you’ve got "visualTooltip": { "show": false }, which is okay, but keep in mind that some visuals might still show tooltips unless disabled in the report settings too.
One thing to double-check: the "outline" values like "TopBottom" and "Frame" — these are valid, but make sure the visuals you're applying them to actually support those outline styles. Sometimes Power BI silently ignores unsupported props.
If you're not seeing the expected results, try applying the theme to a fresh report and test with a basic matrix or table to isolate which settings are being picked up.

modi123pThank you burakkaragoz . I have added visual specific styles at the bottom. So any overrides will be done in this section. However, the problem I m facing is that I m unable to pick the default layout option for Matrix Visual. (Change default layout to Tabular)
