How to set Default Slicer Values based on other slicer selections

I want to understand how to setup default slicer values.

For Ex. I have two slicers States and Cities.  assume i save the default selection for both slicers to California and Las Vegas.

I have turned off interaction from Cityr Slicer-> State. Only State Slicer should filter City Slicer.

Now the problem is when user changes State Slicer ex. from "California" -> "Texas".  The previous selection on "Las Vegas" in city slicer still persists and visuals are showing blank.  User now has to make change the previous selection on City Slicer from "Las Vegas" to something else like "Houston" for the visuals load.

How can we dynamically change the default selection on City Slicer when an element is changed on "State Slicer"

Hello @Anonymous ,

It won't work like this because you turned off the interaction between them.

What you could do is put them both in one slicer as a hierarchy and they can show under each others, every state with its cities.

The problem is, both slicers have to single select based on the data model. With hierarchial slicer if i have 3 levels State, City, Zipcode and then select a particular city it selects all zipcodes by default.  The single select in hierarchial slicer by default only works at the highest level (State)
