I need ur help in this. I have a data slicer in my report. Please let me know how can i set this slicer to show current date always when you open the report first.

There is no direct way that you can set current date/ maximum date to your slicer always
Instead You will have to assign your current data function to a text item and then that text item should be always selected to keep selecting the current date
Draw inspirations from the video in the below link for achieving this

In that Video, instead of a Max Date you should have current date.
That should solve your requirement!!!
