Hi all,
I have a simple line graph showing the total sales over time (first picture).
Using a column, every sale is categolrized as one of four product groups.
My colleagues want to easily see the composition of total sales between the product groups (but seeing total sales is the most important).
So I want to make something like when you hold your mouse on a data point of the total sales, that you see the total sales for each product group.
If I add the product group to the legend, I see that every product group has an individual line in the graph and I can't see the total anymore (which is the most important to see) --> second picture.
Does anyone have ideas how I can visualise the total sales while making it easy to see the sales per product group over time. I also tried the stacked charts but these make it hard to easily see the total of all product groups as well.
@Anonymous , based on what I got
Total sales = calculate([sales], allselected(Table))
Total sales product wise= calculate([sales], filter(allselected(Table) , Table[product] = max( Table[product]))
