It seems that this feature was there because I have see picture of it but I can not find it now.
I also download the AttributSlicer from store and it does not have a serach box.

On a regular slicer, click the elipsis (...) in the top right. There should be a search option there.
Note that you'll need to change the slice to "List" mode by clicking the carat and choosing List.
