How to remove value headers without removing total header in matrix?

I have a matrix that looks like this

beans518_1-1719973247217.png

and I want to remove "Store Count" and "Total Session Count" labels without affecting the labels under Total.

This is what I'm aiming for

I tried turning off the text wrap and adjusted the column width until they disappear, but the output looks uneven and off.

Hi @beans518

Unfortunately, we don't have this functionality, there is an idea about the issue you can vote for it here :

https://ideas.fabric.microsoft.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=dff9e410-4965-eb11-8fed-281878de77da

As an alternative:

1. you can edit the total on the first row like :

2.( Less recommended) put a rectangle with the background color

The problem with this is that a rectangle is a static object, if the matrix has a horizontal scroll this will be the problem

The pbix with the example is attached

Create Measure = if (AND (ISINSCOPE(Orders[Segment], selectedvalue(Orders[Region]) = "west"), Blank(), sum(Orders[sales]))

Thank you for the suggestion, that's what I needed! But is there a way to make the white vertical lines make gray as well? It looks like this now.

@beans518

Unfortunately, you cannot eliminate the gridlines, but you can make them less noticeable by setting the horizontal grid color to the background color.

I recommend avoiding background colors for column headers altogether and instead using the lightest possible background. This is because color is a very strong element that draws attention and can be overwhelming for the mind.

Something like :

or:

The pbix with all examples is attached
