How to remove background bars when filtering through another visual

Hi all,

I wonder if there is a way to remove background bars (red circled) when filtering through another visual.

I know this is possible with a slicer, but I want to do this through clicking on other visuals.

So the bar chart should only show the blue bars and not the blurred blue bars.
