How to refresh only the current page of Power BI instead of refreshing the whole report, as refreshing the whole report is very slow
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @ruicheng ,
You can pin the report you want to refresh to the dashboard to refresh the dashboard directly.
Or enable automatic page refresh in Direct Query

hello @ruicheng ,
the thing is that what is being refreshed are the tables in your report not a specific page, but the pages are having the updated data from the refresh.
so if there's one page that is reading from a specific table then you could refresh this table as @zenisekd mentioned, else if it was reading from multiple pages then you need to get them refreshed.

@ruicheng in import mode, you can refresh a specific source table
so if your report page is based of one table, you can refresh just that table in desktop. If you go to the model tab, you can CTRL-select multiple tables and refresh those, so if you know, what tables is the report based on, you can refresh just those.
Other than that, I can't think of another solution in import mode. You can refresh either specific data table or all tables.
If you use direct query mode, it automatically refreshes the direct queries on the page, when the page is opened. This mode however costs you a lot of functionalities in Power BI.
